CONDITIONS & BASIS OF CALCULATION

- Based on a chargeable weight of 165lbs (75kg)
- Rates indicated below are based on a single hunter
- No Cites species are included
- Horns of the usual trophies (Kudu, Eland and Oryx) are detachable
- Chargeable weight based on assortment of 6 normal plains game skulls + horns plus capes (not mounted)
- Packing and packing material is excluded
- All charges from the airports / countries of destination are excluded
- Any possible import customs duties and / or import taxes in the countries of destination are excluded
- Above rates are based on the current rate of exchanges (06/2007): 1 US$ = 7.35 NAD 1 EUR = 9.95 NAD

IMPORT CHARGES IN DESTINATION COUNTRIES

Extremely difficult to establish. Too many differences between airports, states and countries.
For rough calculation purposes:
USA = US$ 300.00 per import clearance excluding import taxes (VAT)
EU = €UR 300.00 per import clearance excluding import taxes (VAT)

GENERAL INFORMATION

- Normally shipments are sent by airfreight, if the client does not decide otherwise.
- Except for Germany, all clients are notified upon receipt of the trophies upfront with all information pertaining to the upcoming shipping formalities, options and charges. The client has always a choice.
- Trophies are not dispatched without the consent of the client concerned.
- Ocean freight shipments are only really an alternative if the order (the shipping unit) is larger than 2 cbm / in airfreight this is equal to approximately 660lbs (300kg) plus (chargeable weight), and then it also depends on the destination. 660lbs (300kg) are equal to a minimum of 6 large shoulder mounts plus a combination of further medium and small trophies. The sea freight mode has many implications i.e. long transit times up to 10 weeks, etc…

The topic "shipping" is very complex and is subject to many conditions and influences beyond our control.
